3 AUSBILDUNG, DIE BEGEISTERT! TRAINING THAT INSPIRES! WARUM SICH DIE AUSBILDUNG BEI ISGUS LOHNT? WIR SORGEN FÜR IHREN ERFOLGREICHEN BERUFSSTART IN DIE ARBEITSWELT. ISGUS bietet seinen Auszubildenden und Studenten abwechslungsreiche Projekte und Events. Darunter zählen beispielsweise der Besuch der Personalmesse in Stuttgart, ein Knigge-Seminar sowie Sozialtage. Durch die beschriebenen Aktionen können unsere Azubis wertvolle Eindrücke gewinnen und wichtige Kompetenzen erlernen. Zu den Top zwei Angeboten zählen der Azubiausflug und das Teamtraining. Das Ziel hierbei ist, dass sich die neuen und bisherigen Auszubildenden und Studenten bei einem schönen Rahmenprogramm besser kennenlernen und austauschen können. Unsere jüngsten Mitarbeiter sind für die Azubikanäle auf Instagram und Facebook sowie dem Magazin AZUBI NEWS verantwortlich. Zusätzlich organisieren unsere Azubis die jährlich stattfindende „Jobs for Future“ Ausbildungsmesse. Die Organisation beinhaltet verschiedene Aufgaben wie beispielsweise das Anmelden der Messe, das Bestellen von Serviceleistungen, die Erstellung eines Standplans sowie die Organisation von Werbemittel. In der Ausbildung darf auch ein Besuch in einer unserer Niederlassungen nicht fehlen. Dort nehmen unsere Auszubildenden und Studenten an Kundenbesuchen teil und werden bei der Erstellung von Angeboten miteinbezogen. Künftig soll es auch die Möglichkeit geben, für eine Woche unseren Standort in UK zu besuchen mit dem Ziel, die persönlichen Englischkenntnisse zu vertiefen und erste Auslandserfahrungen zu sammeln. Ein Dank an unsere Personalabteilung, die mit ihren engagierten und erfahrenen Mitarbeitern für die Weiterentwicklung und Förderung der jungen Menschen bei ISGUS mitverantwortlich ist. So können Zukunftskompetenzen, Kreativität und Teamgeist unserer Nachwuchskräfte durch ein anspruchsvolles und abwechslungsreiches Ausbildungsprogramm gezielt gefördert werden. WHY TRAINING AT ISGUS IS WORTHWHILE! WE ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL START TO YOUR CAREER IN THE WORLD OF WORK. ISGUS offers its trainees and students a wide variety of projects and events. These include, for example, a visit to the HR fair in Stuttgart, a business etiquette seminar as well as welfare days. Such activities allow our trainees to gain valuable impressions and learn important skills. The two key events are a trainee excursion and a special team training. These events are designed to help new and advanced trainees and students to get to know each other better and exchange ideas during an enjoyable social programme. Our youngest employees are responsible for the trainee channels on Instagram and Facebook as well as for the AZUBI NEWS magazine. Our trainees also organise the annual “Jobs for Future” fair at Villingen-Schwenningen. The organisation includes various tasks such as registering for the fair, ordering services, creating a stand plan and organising advertising materials. The training programme also includes a visit to one of our German subsidiaries. During this stay, our trainees and students participate in customer visits and are involved in the preparation of quotations. In the near future, there will also be the opportunity to visit our UK branch office for one week to improve the personal English skills and to gain first experiences abroad. Our thanks go to our HR department, whose dedicated and experienced collaborators are jointly responsible for the continued development and promotion of young people at ISGUS. By offering a challenging and varied training programme, we are able to systematically foster the future skills, creativity and team spirit of our junior staff.
4 SEIT 1992 IST DIE NIEDERLASSUNG IN ERFURT EIN WICHTIGER BESTANDTEIL DER ISGUS UNTERNEHMENSGRUPPE UND NICHT MEHR WEGZUDENKEN FÜR DIE CA. 1.000 WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT KUNDEN, DIE IM RAUM THÜRINGEN, SACHSEN UND SACHSEN-ANHALT VON ERFURT AUS BETREUT WERDEN. Vor der Wende hatte sich bereits der VEB ROBOTRON mit elektronischer Zeiterfassung beschäftigt, wodurch damals die ersten Kontakte zur ISGUS GmbH entstanden sind. Nach der Wende wurde aus dem Robotron-Team eine Einheit der „Büro- und Datentechnik Vertriebs GmbH Erfurt“ bis 1992 schließlich die ISGUS GmbH das gesamte Team übernahm und die Niederlassung in Erfurt als ISGUS Vertriebszentrum Ost gründete. Die Niederlassung in Erfurt besteht also schon seit 32 Jahren und hat sich in der Landeshauptstadt Thüringens bestens etabliert. Maßgebend dafür war das Engagement und die Leidenschaft jedes Einzelnen unserer Beschäftigten. Inzwischen hat sich unser Team in Erfurt stark verjüngt und präsentiert sich als dynamisches Niederlassungsteam, das sich voller Energie und Tatendrang der Neukundenakquise widmet. Aber auch die Betreuung und Migration von Bestandskunden auf unsere modernste Lösung ZEUS® Workforce Management gehören dazu. Dabei werden viele Einzelsysteme bei Großkunden im öffentlichen Dienst auf zentrale Lösungen für ganze Behördenstrukturen zusammengezogen. Das Team der Niederlassung Erfurt zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass jeder, egal welche Position man betrachtet, bereit ist, Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Besonders neue Herausforderungen werden geschätzt, um immer die beste Lösung für unsere Kunden zu finden. Auch über das Gebiet der Niederlassung Erfurt hinaus sind die derzeit 12 Mitarbeitenden bereit, mit ihrer Erfahrung Projekte anderer Standorte in Hannover oder Berlin zu unterstützen oder ganz umzusetzen. 5 SINCE 1992, THE BRANCH OFFICE IN ERFURT HAS PLAYED AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE ISGUS GROUP AND HAS BECOME INDISPENSABLE FOR THE APPROXIMATELY 1,000 WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT CUSTOMERS IN THE REGION OF THURINGIA, SAXONY AND SAXONY-ANHALT WHO ARE SERVED FROM ERFURT. Before reunification, VEB ROBOTRON had already been involved in electronic time recording, which led to the first contacts with ISGUS GmbH. After reunification, the Robotron team became a unit of “Büro- und Datentechnik Vertriebs GmbH Erfurt“ until ISGUS GmbH finally took over the entire team in 1992 and founded the branch in Erfurt known as ISGUS Sales and Support Centre East. 8 Wie sind Sie zu Ihrer Tätigkeit als Projektleiter bei der ISGUS GmbH gekommen? Mein Vater, Leiter des Technischen Supports und Produktmanagements, hat mir den Tipp gegeben, mich bei ISGUS für eine Ausbildung zu bewerben. Somit habe ich meine Ausbildung zum Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung im September 2017 begonnen. Nachdem ich diese abgeschlossen hatte, suchte ich nach einem Job mit einem vielseitigen Aufgabengebiet. Zudem sollte er spannende und anspruchsvolle Tätigkeiten beinhalten und die Möglichkeit bieten, an Installationsterminen bei Kunden vor Ort teilnehmen zu können. Meine täglichen To-Dos sind ein Mix aus Projektarbeit, Produktmanagement und technischem Support. Wie lief der Entwicklungsprozess des neuen ZEUS® HR-Management-Moduls ab? Den Grundstein zu HR-Management lieferten unsere treuen Kunden. Der Wunsch war, ein Gesamtpaket zu schaffen, welches über die ZEUS® Zeiterfassung und die ZEUS® Personaleinsatzplanung hinaus zusätzlich ein Management-Tool für HR-Abteilungen integriert. So wurde das Projekt ins Leben gerufen. Unsere anfängliche Herausforderung war, die Leistungsmerkmale zu definieren. Die Zusammenarbeit der Abteilungen des Projektmanagements und der Entwicklung sind sehr inspirierend und motivierend. Was hat Ihnen bei der Entwicklung der ZEUS® HR-Management-Software besonders gut gefallen? Meine Begeisterung für die neue Softwarelösung war direkt entfacht. Zum einen bin ich davon überzeugt, dass dies genau der richtige Schritt für unser Produkt ZEUS® ist. Zum anderen empfand ich die Entstehungsphase dieser Lösung als eine spannende Reise voller neuer Erkenntnisse und Möglichkeiten. Durch den Einsatz modernster Technologien konnten wir eine effiziente und benutzerfreundliche Software entwickeln, die es unseren Kunden ermöglicht, ihr Personalmanagement auf ein neues Level zu heben. Aber auch das kreative Denken, die intensive Zusammenarbeit und das Streben nach Exzellenz spielten bei der Entwicklung dieses Moduls eine große Rolle. Ich bin stolz darauf, Teil dieses Innovationsprozesses gewesen zu sein und freue mich darauf, unsere Lösung bald mit anderen Unternehmen teilen zu können! Bei welchen spannenden Projekten haben Sie bisher noch mitgewirkt? Meine spannenden Erfahrungen als Projektleiter reichen von der erfolgreichen Einführung neuer Software bis hin zur Leitung verschiedener Kundenprojekte. Eines meiner ersten Projekte war die Einführung eines Monitoring-Tools für unsere ISGUS Cloud. Zudem war ich schon bei vielen verschiedenen Kundenprojekten im In- und Ausland tätig. Bei der Entwicklung unserer ZEUS® mobile App wurde ich ebenfalls mit einbezogen. Die Vielseitigkeit meiner bisherigen Tätigkeiten hat mir gezeigt, dass keine Herausforderung zu groß ist, solange man mit Leidenschaft und Engagement bei der Sache ist. Ich freue mich schon auf kommende, interessante Projekte und darauf, mein Know-how in verschiedenen Bereichen weiter auszubauen. im interview mit manuel emminger projektleiter im technischen support
9 How did you come to work as a project manager at ISGUS? My father, Head of Technical Support and Product Management, encouraged me to apply for an apprenticeship at ISGUS. That’s why I started my vocational training as an IT specialist for application development in September 2017. Once completed, I was looking for a job offering a wide range of tasks. The job should also involve exciting and challenging activities including the possibility to actively participate in on-site system installations. All in all, my daily to-do list consists of a mix of project work, product management and technical support. How did the development process of the new ZEUS® HR Management module look like? The foundation for the HR management software solution was laid by our long-standing customers. They were looking for an all-in-one package that would integrate a management tool for HR departments on top of ZEUS® Time & Attendance and ZEUS® Staff Scheduling. This is how the project was launched. Initially, our main challenge was to define the key performance features. The collaboration between the Project Management and the SW Development team has been very inspiring and motivating. What did you particularly like about the development of the ZEUS® HR Management software? The new software solution immediately sparked my enthusiasm. First of all, I am deeply convinced that the HR Management module is exactly what our ZEUS® product solution needs. And secondly, I felt that the development process of the HR management solution was an exciting journey full of new insights and opportunities. By deploying the latest technologies, we have been able to develop a highly efficient and user-friendly software that enables our customers to take their HR management to a new level. In addition, creative thinking, intensive collaboration and striving for excellence played a major role in the development of this module. I am proud to have been part of this innovation process and look forward to sharing our solution with other organisations soon! What other exciting projects have you been involved in? The exciting experiences I have gained as a project manager range from the successful introduction of new software to managing different customer projects. One of my first projects was the introduction of a monitoring tool for the ISGUS Cloud. I have already worked on many different customer projects both in Germany and abroad and was also actively involved in the redesign of our ZEUS® mobile app. The diversity of all these activities has taught me that no challenge is too big as long as you show passion and commitment. Durch gezieltes Teilen von Inhalten können Unternehmen ihre Expertise präsentieren und ihr Netzwerk auf- und ausbauen. Vertriebsarbeit ist eng verbunden mit selbstständigem, eigenverantwortlichem Arbeiten sowie mit einem hohen Maß an Flexibilität. Durch regelmäßige Schulungen und spezielle interne Programme bei ISGUS soll die individuelle Weiterentwicklung eines jeden Vertrieblers gefördert werden. In einer offenen Unternehmenskultur mit flachen Hierarchien schafft ISGUS die perfekte Umgebung, um das volle Potenzial zu entfalten.
