9 How did you come to work as a project manager at ISGUS? My father, Head of Technical Support and Product Management, encouraged me to apply for an apprenticeship at ISGUS. That’s why I started my vocational training as an IT specialist for application development in September 2017. Once completed, I was looking for a job offering a wide range of tasks. The job should also involve exciting and challenging activities including the possibility to actively participate in on-site system installations. All in all, my daily to-do list consists of a mix of project work, product management and technical support. How did the development process of the new ZEUS® HR Management module look like? The foundation for the HR management software solution was laid by our long-standing customers. They were looking for an all-in-one package that would integrate a management tool for HR departments on top of ZEUS® Time & Attendance and ZEUS® Staff Scheduling. This is how the project was launched. Initially, our main challenge was to define the key performance features. The collaboration between the Project Management and the SW Development team has been very inspiring and motivating. What did you particularly like about the development of the ZEUS® HR Management software? The new software solution immediately sparked my enthusiasm. First of all, I am deeply convinced that the HR Management module is exactly what our ZEUS® product solution needs. And secondly, I felt that the development process of the HR management solution was an exciting journey full of new insights and opportunities. By deploying the latest technologies, we have been able to develop a highly efficient and user-friendly software that enables our customers to take their HR management to a new level. In addition, creative thinking, intensive collaboration and striving for excellence played a major role in the development of this module. I am proud to have been part of this innovation process and look forward to sharing our solution with other organisations soon! What other exciting projects have you been involved in? The exciting experiences I have gained as a project manager range from the successful introduction of new software to managing different customer projects. One of my first projects was the introduction of a monitoring tool for the ISGUS Cloud. I have already worked on many different customer projects both in Germany and abroad and was also actively involved in the redesign of our ZEUS® mobile app. The diversity of all these activities has taught me that no challenge is too big as long as you show passion and commitment.
